Herb & Debbie Lamp

Before joining Barnabas in 2009, we lived and served for 28 years in three countries in Europe and former Eastern Europe. Our focus in those years was Bible teaching, leadership, women’s ministry and, finally, member care. Our wonderful, but often hard experiences, living and working on the field, serve us well today as we travel internationally to visit global servants in their countries of ministry and through the Internet. We share our struggles honestly with them, but with great hope! Pointing them to God’s redeeming work and leading them into His presence is the focus of all we do. We believe powerfully in relational and incarnational ministry: in the power of presence, place and purpose. We love global workers with all our hearts and give ourselves to helping them find full spiritual and emotional health.

Herb and Debbie provide one-on-one pastoral care, workshops and training around the world and in the US. Debbie provides vision and leadership to Equipping Women International, a leadership skill training and spiritual transformation program for women. Herb’s doctoral studies at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in spiritual formation informs his pastoral care.

Today we live in the shadow of Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs, and have three adult children and three grandchildren who live too far away.
