I'm an Indiana farm girl that by an ordained timeline found myself in East Asia a lot longer than I had originally planned. In 2003 I left Indiana for what I thought was a year and ended up serving as a teacher for 18 years and a member care specialist within that organization for 10+ years. What started as me trying to care for and encourage a friend of mine in her heart for the nations has now come full circle. I joined Barnabas in Sept. 2021 and am so very excited to watch the Father weave together all of my past experiences into what He has now set before me as I focus on serving global workers from an array of nations going to the more difficult places of the world. God has shaped in me through good times and especially the tougher aspects of life a deep desire to come alongside those whom He has called to sow in tears and reap with songs of joy. I long to see them thrive in their relationship with Him and out of the overflow of that ultimate relationship be used to draw more into the fold. Teaching, training, debriefing, coaching are some of the tools He has given me in my tool belt for this work of coming alongside these workers all around the world. It is my delight and great joy to follow Him into the darker corners of our globe to encourage and spur on those who live among so many who are still in need of the Good Shepherd.
